Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking

Last updated December 16, 2021

As reflected within its Modern Slavery Statement, the Company is committed to ensuring that modern slavery is not associated with its supply chains or any part of its business.

In relation to allegations of forced labour in the polysilicon supply chain, the Company is working closely with the Investment Adviser to ensure appropriate action is taken to investigate this matter. In addition to enhanced due diligence processes, the Investment Adviser is a signatory to the Solar Energy UK’s industry supply chain statement:

“We, members of the UK solar energy industry, condemn and oppose any abuse of human rights, including forced labour, anywhere in the global supply chain. We support applying the highest possible levels of transparency and sustainability throughout the value chain and commit to the development of an industry-led traceability protocol to help to ensure our supply chain is free of human rights abuses.”

Representatives of the Investment Adviser are also part of the Solar Energy UK Supply Chain Task Force. The issue will remain a priority and the Company will continue to monitor and engage on the subject over coming months
